Job description
About the Company
Delphi One is building a fresh investment reasoning platform for analysts covering equities and crypto. The product lets analysts publish structured investment Views, break those Views into clear and defensible Premises, and invite public scrutiny of their thinking. On this platform, reputation is earned through the strength of reasoning rather than audience size or credentials.
The company is scheduled to launch this summer and is currently selecting a founding group of analysts who will shape the first wave of content and establish the standard for the platform going forward.
The Role
The company is seeking 3 to 5 founding analysts who already think deeply about markets and share their analysis publicly. The initial engagement is a two-week paid trial that involves about one hour of work per day, Monday through Friday, with total compensation of $1,000 for the trial period.
During the trial, analysts will publish investment Views on the platform, respond to and challenge the reasoning of other analysts, and provide organized feedback on the user experience. Candidates who show strong reasoning and active participation may be invited to join as Founding Analysts with designated-analyst status for the assets they cover, priority influence on the leaderboard, and a public reputation that grows as their reasoning holds up under challenge. For exceptional contributors, the company is open to part-time or full-time arrangements, with compensation and long-term path determined by the value they bring.
What You Will Do
- Publish clear investment Views on equities or crypto, supported by structured and defensible Premises
- Critically review and challenge the reasoning put forward by other analysts on the platform
- Share organized feedback on the product experience during the two-week trial
Who the Company Is Looking For
Ideal candidates are already publishing investment analysis in public forums such as X, Seeking Alpha, Substack, or similar channels. Experience may be in equities, crypto, or both, but applicants must be based in a United States time zone and have native or near-native English proficiency. The company wants people with a clear, defensible view on the assets they cover and a track record of putting those ideas into writing.
A finance degree is not required. What is required is a proven history of public analytical thinking.
Application Process
An X account is required for the application process because it is used for sign-in and direct communication. Applicants must create their submission on the platform by posting one View, consisting of a single-sentence investment thesis on any asset, and at least three Premises that logically support that thesis. They should also follow @Delphi_One on X so the team can reach out by direct message if needed, and send a DM to @Delphi_One with their X handle and the message: “Applying for Founding Analyst” so the team can connect the platform submission with the application.
The submission on app.delphi.one is the actual application. A resume or cover letter is not needed at this stage; those materials will only be requested if the candidate is invited to interview.
Additional Information
The company also has a Community Lead opening. Interested candidates are directed to search for “Delphi One Community Lead” on LinkedIn.
