Role overview
This position is for a forklift driver working on-site in Auckland, New Zealand, supporting warehouse and distribution activities for Stanley Black & Decker. The role centers on safe, accurate movement of goods and keeping storage areas organized and efficient.
Key duties
- Run a reach truck in narrow-aisle and high-stacking environments.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles, racks, and other storage locations.
- Move, sort, and arrange materials inside the warehouse or distribution facility.
- Follow all safety rules and operate equipment in a way that prevents incidents.
- Support stock control and general inventory organization when needed.
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean work area.
Skills and qualifications
- A current reach truck licence or certification is required.
- Prior experience using a reach truck is preferred or may be necessary.
- The role may involve physical work, so a good level of fitness is important.
- Strong accuracy and care are needed for inventory and safety-related tasks.
