Role overview
Summit is hiring a full-time food service worker for its correctional facility team in Bay Minette, Alabama. This onsite role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, handling a range of food service tasks, and interacting with a varied group of people each day.
Key duties
You will help prepare, serve, and distribute meals. The work may also involve moving between different parts of the food service area, including the tray line, dish room, cafeteria, and storeroom.
Responsibilities may change over time, and management may add other related duties whenever needed.
What the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate should bring strong people skills, a service-oriented mindset, and good attention to detail. Clear communication and solid organizational ability are also important. Previous experience in food service is considered an advantage, though not required.
Compensation
The pay for this role is $17.00 per hour.
