Job description
Overview
Très LA Group is hiring a versatile team member for a corporate café serving one of the world’s largest technology companies in Los Lunas, New Mexico. This position combines dishwashing, prep cooking, and food receiving duties to help keep a busy café running smoothly and to support a positive dining experience for employees and guests.
Compensation and Schedule
- Pay range: $17.50 to $19 per hour
- Workdays are Monday through Friday during daytime hours only
- No evening, night, or weekend shifts
- Guaranteed 40 hours each week

Key Duties
- Clean dishes, glassware, and utensils using both mechanical dishwashing equipment and handwashing methods
- Keep kitchen, service, and work areas neat, sanitary, and well organized
- Put cleaned dishes and equipment away in the correct locations
- Support food preparation by washing, trimming, and cutting ingredients
- Accept deliveries, verify food items, and store them according to food safety standards
- Help maintain cleanliness in dining and service spaces
- Interact with guests in a courteous and welcoming manner
- Comply with all required safety and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a busy, high-output kitchen is preferred
- Clear communication and strong customer service ability
- Comfort working on several tasks at once in a fast-moving environment
- Working knowledge of kitchen tools, equipment, and sanitation rules
- Ability to recognize different foods accurately when receiving deliveries
- Knife handling skills needed for food prep tasks
- Valid Food Handler’s Certificate is required
Physical and Work Conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move kitchen equipment
- Requires standing for long periods and repeating similar tasks throughout the shift
- May involve bending, kneeling, and climbing to move safely through kitchen and café areas
- Work takes place in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
- Daily exposure to heat, steam, kitchen machinery, and cleaning chemicals
