Role overview
Dalata Hotel Group is hiring a Food & Beverage Assistant for its property in Corrandulla, County Galway, Ireland. This is a site-based, full-time role focused on delivering warm, efficient service to hotel guests.
You’ll report to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager. The position includes structured learning through Dalata Academy, with support from experienced colleagues to help you build your skills and progress within the business. Dalata also places strong emphasis on internal promotion and career growth.

What the role involves
- Greeting repeat guests by name and making them feel recognized and valued
- Maintaining a solid understanding of food and wine so you can offer suitable recommendations
- Delivering service in a courteous, polished, and professional manner at all times
- Actively suggesting and selling items to help improve revenue whenever possible
- Keeping the bar and restaurant areas clean and well maintained
- Serving food and beverages to guests
What you’ll need
- Prior experience in a similar role is required
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Experience in a busy, high-pressure, fast-moving setting
- Strong spoken English and clear communication skills
- Experience with Micros would be an advantage
- Hotel experience is preferred
