Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site Finance Administrator position located in Staten Island, NY. The role supports core finance operations by handling invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting. It also involves preparing and reconciling financial records, keeping documentation accurate and organized, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and working closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams. The position additionally requires responding to internal queries, following company policies, and helping strengthen financial processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming invoices and support routine payment and receivable workflows.
- Maintain and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
- Compile, review, and reconcile financial documents to keep records accurate.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and related planning activities.
- Coordinate with finance, accounting, and operations teams on daily tasks and reporting needs.
- Address internal financial questions in a clear and timely manner.
- Help uphold company policies, financial controls, and compliance practices.
- Contribute ideas and support efforts to improve financial workflows and administrative efficiency.
Required Background and Skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a similar field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Practical knowledge of finance and financial planning to assist with analysis and forecasting.
- Strong accounting capability for reconciliations, transaction handling, and record maintenance.
- Good analytical ability to interpret data and recognize financial patterns or issues.
- Professional communication skills for working with internal teams and sharing financial information.
- Comfort using spreadsheets and financial tools; experience with ERP or accounting platforms is an advantage.
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with investment or banking operations would be helpful, though it is not mandatory.
