Role overview
The Field Service Resource Planner supports the coordination of field service and project activities by handling planning requests, aligning resource availability with project needs, and ensuring demand is met using local teams or support from other regions. The role relies heavily on Salesforce, which is the core system used for planning within the field service function.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with Project Management and Field Service teams to keep operations aligned and coordinated.
- Maintain up-to-date planning records for Field Service Resources (FSRs) in the relevant system.
- Allocate field service staff according to their competencies and availability.
- Create and refresh the competency matrix for the field service team on a regular basis.
- Compile forecast reports for the assigned team and check actual hours recorded by field service personnel.
- Support the delegation officer and commercial officer with field service personnel administration, including checking that mandatory documents remain valid and helping improve day-to-day processes.
Requirements
- UAE citizenship is mandatory.
- A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, IT, or Science from a recognized university or college is required.
- Prior exposure to scheduling, planning, or process improvement is preferred, though recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Experience with Primavera and/or Salesforce is a strong advantage.
- Strong command of office productivity tools and excellent written and spoken English are necessary.
- Should be self-driven, process-focused, collaborative, and comfortable working with multicultural teams.
