Field Service Engineer (Print)

Role overview

Landa is hiring a Field Service Engineer to help deliver an excellent customer experience for its Nanographic Printing presses. The role focuses on hands-on technical support for an expanding customer base, along with building stronger customer relationships through reliable field service.

Key responsibilities

• Share technical know-how with press operators so they can fix on-site issues more efficiently.
• Route difficult technical problems to Landa’s global support teams to ensure they are handled quickly and effectively.
• Use deep knowledge of the press technology to improve production output and overall productivity.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in product support within the graphic arts sector, specifically with digital printers or offset presses.
• Hands-on exposure to inkjet systems.
• Strong technical troubleshooting ability and end-to-end problem-solving skills.
• A valid driving licence.

Additional attributes

• Must be comfortable working flexible hours and travelling 60% to 70% of the time to customer sites, including overnight travel.
• Should be able to work remotely with limited supervision and stay effective under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills are needed for working with customers and colleagues across global teams.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset is important when following established technical procedures to address customer issues.
• Should be a quick self-learner who actively builds knowledge of systems, technologies, and products.
• Needs to be self-driven and able to perform well in a fast-changing environment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required.
