Role Overview
This is a full-time, on-site Field Recruiter position based in Vijayawada West, Andhra Pradesh. The primary focus of this role is to identify, screen, and hire frontline and operational staff for Delhivery's extensive logistics network in the region. Key daily activities will involve collaborating closely with local management to pinpoint hiring requirements, conducting site visits, organizing recruitment events such as job fairs and walk-in interviews, and cultivating a robust pipeline of qualified candidates. The role encompasses the full spectrum of recruitment, from advertising vacancies and conducting initial candidate assessments to negotiating offers and assisting with onboarding procedures, all while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and relevant labor regulations. Additionally, the Field Recruiter will be responsible for generating recruitment reports, monitoring key hiring metrics, and actively participating in employer branding efforts within local communities and educational institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with local hiring managers to understand and fulfill their talent acquisition needs for frontline and operational roles.
- Execute end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the offer and onboarding stages.
- Organize and conduct field-based recruitment activities such as job drives, walk-in interviews, and outreach programs in local communities and educational institutions.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of potential candidates for various operational positions.
- Track and report on key recruitment metrics, ensuring timely fulfillment of hiring targets.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies and local employment laws.
- Contribute to building Delhivery's employer brand within the local market.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated ability in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, particularly for blue-collar and frontline logistics positions.
- Proven experience managing the complete recruitment lifecycle, from posting jobs to supporting onboarding.
- Capability to organize and lead field hiring events and community outreach initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple requisitions and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software, spreadsheets, and HR systems for tracking and reporting.
- Familiarity with the local labor market and basic knowledge of employment regulations is advantageous.
- Fluency in both English and Telugu is required for effective communication.
- A bachelor's degree in any field is required; prior experience in logistics or high-volume recruitment is a plus.
- Willingness to travel locally within the assigned region for recruitment activities and site visits.
