Job description

About the Company

Southern National Roofing is a fast-growing residential roofing business with more than $20 million in annual scale. The company has earned recognition on several industry growth lists, holds BBB accreditation with an A+ rating, and is designated as a Top 2% Master Elite Roofer, a status held by fewer than 2% of contractors nationwide.

Role Overview

As a Field Inspector, you will work in residential neighborhoods to identify homes that may qualify for a complimentary roof inspection and arrange inspection visits with homeowners. This is a ground-level, face-to-face field position. You will not be selling, and you will not be climbing roofs.

The role is suited to people who enjoy talking with customers, staying active outdoors, and building a career path with room to grow. It is especially relevant for candidates coming from customer service, retail, hospitality, warehouse, restaurant, bartending, receptionist, or administrative assistant backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cover assigned residential areas on foot and engage with homeowners at their homes.
  • Carry out simple visual checks from the ground level.
  • Present the free roof inspection service in a clear and friendly way.
  • Book inspection appointments for the in-home inspection team.
  • Work outdoors while remaining physically active throughout the day.

Training and Growth

The company is hiring urgently and expects new team members to start as soon as possible. Paid training is provided, and advancement is tied to performance. The organization also emphasizes coaching and ongoing development.

Requirements

Applicants should be comfortable speaking with people in person, maintain a professional appearance, and bring a positive, motivated attitude. Strong communication skills are important. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and a reliable vehicle to travel to and from the office. The schedule requires working 40 hours between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM from Monday to Saturday.
