Job description

About the company

Playlist is focused on helping people step away from their screens and spend more time moving, connecting, exploring, and playing. Through brands such as Mindbody and ClassPass, the company is building a platform centered on intentional living and making it easier for businesses and individuals to turn goals into real-world action. The wider mission is to use technology to encourage meaningful in-person experiences in fitness, wellness, and related spaces.

ClassPass gives people access to thousands of fitness and wellness experiences around the world, supporting active and balanced lifestyles. The platform is designed to make it easy to discover and book activities such as workout classes, self-care services, healthy meals, and new experiences. The goal is to help create healthier, more vibrant communities globally.

Role overview

The Field Account Executive will focus on bringing new fitness, wellness, and adjacent vertical partners onto the ClassPass platform in the assigned market and wider region. This role is market-embedded and requires building strong local relationships, staying close to the fitness and wellness scene, and identifying the best studios, spas, and newly opened venues as early as possible.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will drive partner acquisition and help expand the business across your territory while maintaining a strong field presence.

  • Approach fitness, wellness, and other relevant partners directly within your territory to grow the partner portfolio.
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets for adding new venues to the ClassPass network.
  • Lead with an in-person, field-driven approach through drop-ins, meetings, and events, while using inside sales methods selectively to move deals forward faster.
  • Build and maintain relationships by attending networking opportunities across the regional fitness and wellness community.
  • Keep Salesforce records current and accurate to support forecasting and pipeline tracking.
  • Negotiate effectively and present partner-facing materials, including higher-level readouts and pitch decks, to prospective partners.

Requirements

Applicants should bring a background in fast-moving B2B sales and be comfortable working across field and inside sales motions.

  • 1 to 2 years of sales experience, mainly in fast-paced transactional B2B sales using both field and inside sales approaches.
  • A track record of consistently exceeding monthly quotas and OKRs.
  • Exposure to, or professional relationships within, the local fitness, wellness, or similar industry in the region is an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce, Salesloft, and Microsoft Suite.
  • Must be based in New Zealand and willing to travel across the broader region.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are considered a plus.

Additional information

This is a field-oriented role that depends on strong local market awareness, relationship building, and a proactive sales mindset. The employer welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds and encourages people to apply even if they do not meet every single requirement.

Equal opportunity and application notice

The company is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity across backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives. Hiring decisions are not based on race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability, or other protected characteristics.

By submitting an application and providing an email address and phone number, candidates agree to receive application-related emails, calls, and SMS messages, including automated dialing where permitted. Message and data rates may apply, and applicants may opt out by texting STOP. Applicants who are California residents or located outside the United States also confirm that they have read and agreed to the relevant privacy notices and, where applicable, given the necessary consent for processing personal information, including sensitive personal information.
