Facilities Technician

About the Role

GTA Cars seeks a competent and dependable Facilities Technician to oversee the daily upkeep and repair activities within our showrooms and office locations. The position involves managing electrical, plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks to ensure the premises function effectively, safely, and reliably.

Primary Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs throughout all GTA Cars properties
• Address issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and lighting promptly
• Respond swiftly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns
• Perform regular inspections to detect hazards or necessary repairs
• Assist with arranging and relocating furniture and fixtures when needed
• Collaborate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or services
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities and schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all tasks

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
• Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance systems
• Competency in independently diagnosing and resolving facility issues
• Physically capable of performing manual labor duties as required
• Experience using various maintenance tools and equipment
• Preferably previous experience working in the UAE and holding a valid driving license
• Basic proficiency in English for both verbal and written communication
