About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Front of House (FOH) associate to become a key part of our close-knit team at Columbus Brougham Street. Our workplace is built on collaboration and dedication, and we value individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude toward all duties.
Responsibilities
- Deliver prompt and courteous customer service, including serving customers at the counter and providing table service.
- Prepare cabinet food items for sale and maintain the presentation area.
- Manage clearing of tables, general cleaning duties, and washing dishes to uphold hygiene standards.
- Assist kitchen operations as needed, including dishwashing and cleaning tasks.
Candidate Requirements
- At least one year of experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
- Prior barista experience is advantageous.
- Must exhibit punctuality, reliability, and professional appearance.
- Effective communication skills with both customers and team members are essential.
- Resilience and ability to multitask during busy service periods.
- Applicants must have New Zealand residency or a valid New Zealand work visa.
Additional Details
- Work schedule runs from Friday to Tuesday, totaling approximately 30 hours per week.
