Expansion Manager (Site Acquisition)

Role overview

This position is for an experienced Expansion Manager to support dark store growth for Keeta – Keemart in Qatar and Kuwait. The role focuses on finding and securing suitable sites, managing expansion planning, and taking each location through the launch process.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential dark store locations through market research, site visits, trade area assessment, and location screening.
• Create regional expansion plans and opening strategies that align with market conditions and business priorities.
• Handle commercial discussions with landlords, finalise lease terms and engineering needs, review project risks, and compile site selection documentation.
• Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and other internal teams during the full store opening cycle.
• Oversee the end-to-end launch process, including contract execution, site transfer, construction tracking, and store opening, while resolving project issues as they arise.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in site selection, business expansion, or real estate development.
• Strong knowledge of site selection standards for dark stores and Forward Distribution Centers (FDCs).
• A well-established network of landlords, developers, and property owners in the local market.
• Solid capability in commercial negotiation and contract administration.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions.
• Comfortable working under pressure and handling several projects at the same time.
• Strong English communication skills for everyday business use.
