The ideal leader brings at least 15 years of senior management and executive experience, with a strong history of leading large teams, operating in complex business settings, and producing clear business outcomes.

Reporting structure

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO and Board to define the company’s strategic direction, corporate priorities, and long-term expansion plans.
  • Oversee major business areas such as operations, business development, finance, corporate strategy, technology, investments, and overall organizational performance.
  • Support initiatives that improve revenue, profitability, efficiency, and market reach.
  • Translate corporate strategy into execution across leadership, business units, and operational teams.
  • Assess new opportunities, including partnerships, acquisitions, joint ventures, and broader growth initiatives.
  • Track key business and financial indicators to make sure goals are being met.
  • Contribute to capital planning, budgeting, allocation of resources, and investment decisions.
  • Represent the organization in senior-level discussions with investors, banks, government bodies, regulators, clients, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Guide the organization through transformation, restructuring, rapid growth, mergers and acquisitions, and expansion into new markets.
  • Build strong frameworks for governance, risk control, compliance, and corporate responsibility.
  • Coach and develop senior leaders while promoting accountability, teamwork, innovation, and high performance.
  • Maintain clear communication and alignment between executive leadership, shareholders, and the Board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, Engineering, Law, International Business, or a closely related field.
  • An MBA, master’s degree, executive leadership credential, or another advanced qualification is strongly preferred.
  • At least 15 years of professional experience in management and leadership roles within medium to large organizations.
  • At least 10 years of executive-level experience in roles such as EVP, Managing Director, COO, CEO, CCO, CSO, General Manager, or similar senior positions.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, manage complex operations, and sustain business growth.
  • Solid knowledge of governance, strategic planning, financial oversight, business development, organizational leadership, and risk management.
  • Experience leading multiple functions and cross-functional executive teams.
  • Direct exposure to boards, investors, shareholders, banks, and strategic partners.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Commercially strong with the ability to operate in fast-changing domestic and global business environments.
  • English fluency is mandatory; professional Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.
  • Prior board-level and executive committee exposure is preferred.

Preferred industry exposure

Experience in financial services, fintech, investment management, technology, digital finance, professional services, infrastructure, manufacturing, international trade, or multinational companies is preferred.

Experience managing multi-country operations, international growth, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, strategic partnerships, fundraising, and investor relations will be advantageous.
