Role overview
This temporary Executive Assistant position supports the Senior Pastor by keeping day-to-day operations organized and helping the leadership team stay aligned. The assignment begins at $31 to $32 per hour and may offer a path to a permanent role.
The role suits a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys administrative work, project coordination, and serving within a faith-centered environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide close executive-level support to the Senior Pastor.
- Help maintain smooth daily workflows and assist with strategic coordination.
- Manage multiple priorities and support project coordination across tasks.
- Handle scheduling, calendar management, and travel arrangements.
- Attend meetings, record minutes, and keep official documents and files organized.
- Track budgets and submit expense reports as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members and outside partners.
- Use sound judgment when handling confidential or sensitive information.
Qualifications and expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid experience coordinating projects and balancing several priorities at once.
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar executive support position.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize wisely, and protect sensitive information.
- Personal faith commitment to Jesus Christ, along with spiritual maturity and a Christian lifestyle.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to clear a criminal background check.
- Comfortable working onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Additional strengths preferred
- Excellent organizational ability, especially for complex scheduling and travel coordination.
- Ability to quickly establish trust with both internal stakeholders and external contacts.
- Experience with budget monitoring and expense documentation.
- Comfort taking part in meetings and maintaining formal records.
- Prior exposure to faith-based or nonprofit settings is an advantage.
- Professional educational background that supports administrative expertise is beneficial.

This is a temporary onsite contract role in Orlando, FL. The job may transition into a permanent opportunity based on business needs and performance.
