Job description

Overview

This opportunity is for a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a globally leading technology organisation in London. The position is part of a collaborative support setup rather than a standard one-to-one EA arrangement, with shared responsibility for providing smooth, dependable coverage to a senior leader operating at a very high level.

The work is fast-moving, demanding, and varied, with responsibilities spanning complex scheduling, international travel, and day-to-day executive support across professional interactions. Success in this role requires discretion, strong judgement, calm communication, and the confidence to stay ahead of shifting priorities.

What the role involves

You will partner with another Executive Assistant to oversee a heavily layered calendar across multiple global time zones, coordinate detailed travel itineraries, and act as a reliable extension of the CEO when handling external and internal communication. You will need to manage competing priorities, make sensible independent decisions, and adapt quickly as plans change.

The role also includes international travel and out-of-hours support on a rota. It is best suited to someone who is comfortable with the realities of supporting a senior executive at the highest level and who values being deeply involved in the organisation’s work.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings substantial experience supporting a CEO, founder, or similarly senior principal in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. A background in technology or another large, complex global business would be highly relevant.

You should be meticulous, highly organised, and confident working independently when needed. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interact appropriately and professionally with senior stakeholders. A collaborative mindset is important, as this position works closely with a fellow EA and the wider team.

Package and working arrangement

The salary for this position is £80,000 to £90,000, depending on experience, along with a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. The working model is hybrid, with 3 days in the London office and 2 days working from home. International travel is part of the role.

Additional information

This is a permanent position based in the London area, United Kingdom. It is a full-time role and requires a high level of flexibility, including out-of-hours coverage on a rota basis. The organisation is described as operating at the forefront of global technology, and this appointment is considered a rare opportunity to support leadership at an exceptional level.
