Job description

Role overview

A fast-growing investment firm focused on technology and scaling businesses is looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive & Operations Assistant to join its London team. The position offers broad exposure across executive support, operations, finance, events and marketing in a busy, entrepreneurial setting.

The role is designed for someone who can work closely with senior leaders and help keep the business running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Working arrangement

This is a hybrid position with three office days each week, from Tuesday to Thursday. The role is full-time and runs 40 hours per week. The salary is £60,000.

Key duties

  • Support senior leadership with diary coordination, meeting planning and travel bookings, including complex schedules.
  • Handle everyday office administration and operational support.
  • Prepare presentations, reports and compliance documents, and assist with wider company administration.
  • Track expenses and invoices, support bookkeeping tasks, and liaise with external accountants and payroll partners.
  • Keep CRM tools, records and internal files up to date.
  • Help organise events, webinars, networking activities and marketing initiatives, including social media posting.
  • Contribute to ESG-related projects and reporting.
  • Provide support for urgent travel or scheduling changes outside normal office hours when needed.

Candidate profile

The employer is seeking someone with prior experience in an Executive Assistant, Operations Assistant or Team Assistant position. Experience in venture capital, private equity or financial services would be particularly valuable.

The right person will be highly organised, initiative-driven and focused on practical solutions. They should be able to manage a busy workload with several priorities at once, communicate clearly with different stakeholders, work independently when needed and collaborate well with others. Strong attention to detail, a flexible attitude and confidence using Microsoft Office are important. Experience with Xero would be an advantage.

Offer and culture

  • Competitive pay and a broader benefits package.
  • Flexible hybrid working.
  • Close access to an experienced, entrepreneurial leadership team.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • A supportive, collaborative and high-performing workplace.
  • Annual volunteering activities and team events.

Additional information

This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to expand their experience in a respected and growing investment environment.
