Job description
About the Role
In this position, you will take ownership of Skin Cupid’s events programme on a daily basis, grow its influencer and creator network, and support the PR work connected to those activities. This is a brand-side opportunity for someone who has already led events rather than only supported them, and who naturally thinks in terms of run-of-show plans, load-in timing, supplier coordination and backup plans. You should be comfortable taking a shoot or activation from an empty venue through to a fully finished branded experience. Working closely with the Marketing Director, you will help shape how the brand appears beyond its owned digital channels and contribute to a presence that is distinctive, memorable and clearly aligned with Skin Cupid.
Events and physical brand experience
- Manage Skin Cupid’s events schedule from start to finish, including brand launches, press events, partner activations, pop-ups and community gatherings, while handling budgets, timing, vendors and on-site delivery.
- Take responsibility for how the brand appears physically at events, pop-ups and retail appearances by briefing the design team on required assets, coordinating print and production partners, and supervising installation and presentation on the day.
- Oversee all practical event details, including the running order, liaison with suppliers and venues, set-up and teardown, basic health and safety, and staying composed if issues arise during the event.
Brand champion
- Represent Skin Cupid consistently across events, partner meetings, shoots and supplier conversations, ensuring the brand is communicated clearly and protected in every setting.
- Act as a steward of the brand’s standards in all collaborations and activations, making sure each creator, venue and partnership is a true fit for the business.
- Maintain quality and brand tone even when time is tight, and continue to uphold the Skin Cupid standard during demanding event periods.
- Build strong knowledge of the brand so you can confidently speak about what Skin Cupid stands for both inside and outside the company.
Additional information
This position does not come with visa sponsorship. Candidates must already have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
What the company offers
- A close-knit team environment for people who enjoy working collaboratively.
- A dynamic workplace within a growing beauty brand.
- Substantial staff discounts across the product range.
- A hybrid arrangement with three days per week in the London office.
- Complimentary products plus early access to new launches.
- Regular shared lunches, dinners and social gatherings.
- An office snack bar that is kept fully stocked.
What We're Looking For
- Two to four years of experience in events, influencer work, PR or brand marketing, with event delivery playing a central role in at least one position rather than being an occasional task; experience in beauty, fashion, wellness or lifestyle is preferred.
- A portfolio of events you have personally led or co-led, including the brief, budget, production work, supplier management and lessons learned.
- Practical experience with physical production, such as briefing designers, working with print or fabrication vendors, and overseeing installation with attention to finish and detail.
- The ability to manage budgets, schedules and supplier relationships independently while keeping several workstreams moving under event-week pressure.
- Some hands-on exposure to influencers or creators, including the ability to identify promising talent and build relationships.
- A strong sense of branding, with an understanding that every touchpoint should feel consistent, from the entrance to the goody bag to social media tags.
- Either a genuine enthusiasm for K-beauty and Asian skincare or a strong willingness to learn and immerse yourself in the category.
Bonus experience
Existing contacts among creators, press or venues, as well as experience supporting retail pop-ups or wholesale activations, would be an advantage.
