Role Summary
This full-time, onsite position in Singapore is centred on supporting event sales and client coordination. The person in this role will manage incoming sales enquiries, create quotations and proposals, and maintain regular follow-up with both new and existing clients to convert opportunities into confirmed bookings. The job also involves working with internal teams and external vendors to make sure event requirements are captured clearly and communicated accurately.
In addition to sales support, the coordinator will help track event timelines, keep client information organised, assist with on-site event operations when necessary, and look for opportunities to upsell relevant services. The role may also contribute to event marketing activities and requires providing responsive, professional service before, during, and after each event.
Responsibilities
- Respond to event sales enquiries and prepare quotations and sales proposals.
- Follow up with prospective and current clients to support booking conversions.
- Coordinate event details with clients, internal teams, and vendors.
- Record event requirements clearly and ensure they are communicated to the right stakeholders.
- Manage event timelines and support smooth planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate client records and organised documentation.
- Assist with onsite event operations whenever required.
- Identify and pursue upselling opportunities where suitable.
- Support marketing-related activities for events when needed.
- Deliver courteous and prompt customer service throughout the event lifecycle.
Requirements
- Experience or capability in event planning and event management to handle logistics, scheduling, and onsite coordination.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for managing client relationships and expectations.
- Sales ability, including preparing quotations, following up on leads, and closing bookings.
- Good organisational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and being available for occasional evenings, weekends, or public holidays depending on event needs.
- Familiarity with standard office tools such as email, spreadsheets, and presentation software; exposure to CRM systems is a plus.
- Background in events, hospitality, or a related area is preferred, though not essential.
- Interest in events work and client-facing responsibilities is important.
- A diploma or similar qualification in Events Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline is beneficial.
Working Schedule
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
