Role Overview

This position is for an Event Management Specialist in Dehradun who will handle the planning, coordination, and delivery of events in schools and colleges. The work covers the full event lifecycle, from connecting with educational institutions and working with vendors to overseeing logistics, ensuring smooth execution on site, and preparing post-event reports. The role calls for someone who is highly organised, initiative-driven, and willing to travel frequently to manage events and handle operational issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and execute events across schools and colleges from start to finish.
• Coordinate with educational institutions, vendors, internal stakeholders, and on-ground teams.
• Manage event logistics and ensure each activity runs smoothly during execution.
• Monitor operations in real time and resolve any issues that affect event delivery.
• Prepare post-event documentation and reporting.
• Handle budgeting, vendor coordination, and other event-related operational tasks.
• Travel across Uttarakhand and other locations as required for event execution.

Candidate Profile

The preferred candidate should be based in Dehradun and have 2–5 years of relevant experience in event management, activation campaigns, campus engagement, or similar work. Experience in educational events, youth-facing programmes, cultural festivals, competitions, workshops, conferences, or large-scale activations will be an advantage. Strong communication, organisation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills are important, along with the ability to handle several events and deadlines at the same time. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is also expected. A bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Mass Communication, Hospitality, Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

The role requires flexibility to travel extensively across Uttarakhand and potentially other locations depending on event needs. The candidate should be comfortable managing multiple timelines, coordinating with different parties, and maintaining close attention to detail throughout the event process.
