Job description
Role overview
An expanding business in Coalville is seeking a proactive Estimator to join its team. This opportunity suits someone with prior estimating experience, preferably gained in construction, who is comfortable balancing independent work with collaboration and is confident in producing accurate quotations within required timeframes.
What you will do
- Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender packs to understand project scope.
- Produce detailed cost estimates for projects.
- Review and amend estimates as projects move forward.
- Work with suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
- Keep records and project documentation up to date in the CRM system.
- Partner with in-house design colleagues and external sales teams across new and ongoing work.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage several projects at once while communicating clearly with different stakeholders. You should be confident working to deadlines and handling both solo tasks and team-based work.
