Role Overview

Analog Devices International in Limerick is hiring a Graduate Equipment Maintenance Technician for its cleanroom Class 10 wafer fabrication facility. The role supports the production of integrated circuits used across industrial and consumer electronics. This opportunity is suitable for candidates with limited industry experience as well as those with some relevant exposure.

What You Will Do

• Support planned and unplanned repairs of production tools.
• Help identify root causes, troubleshoot faults, and trace issues down to component level.
• Contribute to tool development and ongoing equipment improvements.
• Take part in improvement initiatives independently and alongside a team.
• Work closely with a coach or mentor to investigate and resolve hardware issues in a hands-on setting.
• Present completed work, learnings, and recommendations.
• Use technical manuals, specifications, drawings, schematics, and verbal or written instructions to carry out tasks with different tools and test equipment.
• Communicate technical issues and proposed solutions clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Collaborate effectively in a varied team environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Operate with limited supervision while adapting to fast-changing priorities.

Toolsets and Technical Exposure

The position offers exposure to a range of technologies, including electronics, high vacuum systems, pneumatics, and robotics. Equipment on site includes Applied Material Implanters and Deposition Platforms, Akrion Wet Benches, Aviza Furnaces, TEL Tracks, Nikon Steppers, LAM Etchers, Novellus Deposition Platforms, and Semitool Wet Chemistry Platforms.

Working Pattern and Other Details

This is a rotating shift-based position. A competitive shift premium will be paid in addition to the base compensation. No travel is required for the role.

Export Licensing Notice
