Job description
Role overview
This position is for clinically experienced professionals who will help shape the rollout of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR). The role is central to making sure frontline clinical perspectives are included across design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live preparation.
The postholder will serve as a reliable contact for their clinical area, promoting safe and practical digital working, improving readiness for change, and supporting an EPR implementation that enables better patient care.
Core purpose
You will lead work on IT and patient systems training, identify training needs so the Trust meets regional and national requirements, and guide the training team through changing organisational priorities. You will also work closely with project managers on major programmes such as EPR to create and deliver effective training plans and support transition activities. In addition, you will help expand the use of e-learning for IT and patient systems.

Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is a major acute provider in Yorkshire, supporting a population of more than 440,000 people. Services are delivered across three main hospital sites as well as other service locations, and the Trust employs over 7,000 staff.

Working arrangements and equal opportunities
The organisation supports flexible working wherever the service can accommodate it and invites applicants to discuss working patterns that suit both personal needs and service requirements. The Trust is also an equal opportunities employer and particularly welcomes applications from under-represented groups, including people with disabilities, ethnic minority communities, and LGBTQ+ communities.
