Role Summary

The Environmental Services Support Officer will play a key coordination role within the Environmental Services team in Greenslopes, Queensland. The position focuses on managing staff rosters and supporting day-to-day workforce planning.

Key Duties

• Prepare, update, and distribute rosters for Environmental Services employees across cleaning, transport, linen, and waste functions.
• Cover unplanned absences, sick leave, and annual leave requirements within the roster.
• Assist with staff selection, onboarding/training support, competency checks, and team compatibility matters.
• Handle staff questions and provide responsive administrative support.

About You

• Prior exposure to scheduling, rostering, or workforce coordination work is preferred.
• You should bring strong organisation, the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a busy environment, and effective problem-solving when schedules change unexpectedly.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills are important for this role.
• Comfort using computers, office systems, and standard software applications is required.
