Job description
About the company
Perk, previously known as TravelPerk, is a smart platform designed to simplify travel and spend management. Its software removes repetitive manual tasks by automating travel booking, expense handling, invoice processing, and related workflows. The company’s goal is to reduce the unproductive “shadow work” that drains time, lowers motivation, and limits innovation, so teams can focus on high-value work with real business impact.
More than 10,000 businesses around the world rely on Perk, including Wise, On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics. The company is addressing the equivalent of 7 lost productivity hours per employee each week, a challenge valued at $1.7 trillion.
Established in 2015, Perk has expanded into an international organization with over 1,800 employees across 12 offices worldwide, with main offices in London and Boston. The company combines innovation, control, and ease of use to improve how organizations operate and how employees experience work.
Perk’s culture is built around ownership, delivering a 7-star experience, and collaborating as one team. The company values curiosity, purpose, and mindset as much as formal knowledge, and its talent team brings together people from the travel and SaaS sectors across more than 70 countries.
Role overview
The Enterprise Sales Executive for DACH is responsible for winning and expanding enterprise accounts by managing complex sales cycles that involve multiple decision-makers across both Travel and Spend solutions. The position owns the full sales journey, beginning with targeted prospecting and detailed discovery, and continuing through solution shaping, commercial negotiation, and a structured transition to Implementation and Account Management to support rapid adoption and long-term customer success.
In Perk’s go-to-market model, Travel and Spend are equally important parts of the platform, and this role must consistently prove value in both areas for every qualified opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a strong enterprise pipeline through focused outbound activity and qualified inbound opportunities involving senior stakeholders.
- Conduct in-depth discovery calls across travel and spend processes to uncover pain points, quantify value, and build ROI cases while mapping existing workflows, data connections, and integrations.
- Coordinate complex evaluations with several stakeholders, including pilots or soft launches when appropriate, and define timelines, ownership, and success measures.
- Manage procurement, legal, and security reviews while structuring pricing and commercial terms that match both customer value and internal policies.
- Work closely with SDRs, Implementation Specialists, and Account Managers to reduce go-live risk and create a strong activation plan.
- Keep pipeline records accurate and up to date, with disciplined forecasting, clear next actions, and well-defined stage exit criteria.
- Gather feedback from prospects and customers, then share market insights with Product to help shape the roadmap.
Success measures
- Growth in new ARR and average deal size within the enterprise segment.
- Strong forecast accuracy, healthy stage conversion, and efficient opportunity progression.
- Shorter time to activation and smooth handovers to Implementation and Account Management.
- Clear executive alignment and strong multi-threading across Finance, IT, and Operations, including effective spend champions.
Required experience
- Hands-on success closing complex B2B SaaS deals across multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles in the DACH market.
- Proven track record of meeting quota in new business, including executive-level selling and negotiation.
- Experience driving cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Security, RevOps, Implementation, and Account Management teams.
- Background selling to Finance, Procurement, and IT teams for platform evaluations involving travel and spend management.
- Ability to perform enterprise discovery and value engineering, including ROI analysis and business-case creation for travel and spend solutions.
- Strong stakeholder mapping, executive communication, and deal strategy skills across CFOs, FP&A, Procurement, IT, and Operations.
- Disciplined stage management, risk control, and accurate forecasting.
- Excellent written and spoken communication in both English and German.
Day-to-day expectations
- Lead focused discovery conversations that uncover spend governance, payment processes, and expense workflows alongside travel requirements.
- Turn business objectives into a Perk solution plan covering integrations, data needs, and the path to activation.
- Build consensus and address objections from security, legal, and finance stakeholders.
- Maintain a well-structured CRM with precise next steps, risks, and decision-making details.
Cross-functional collaboration
- Partner with SDRs to align on ideal customer profile, outbound strategy, and SQL quality standards.
- Work with Implementation Specialists early to define scope, success metrics, and launch timelines.
- Coordinate with Account Managers for a seamless handover, including stakeholder maps, agreed outcomes, and near-term expansion ideas.
- Engage RevOps, Legal, and Security teams early to remove blockers in diligence and approvals.
Nice-to-have background
- Familiarity with DACH-specific ERP and HRIS environments, as well as local tax, invoicing, and enterprise spend practices.
- Comfort working in English and German; knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage.
Benefits and perks
- 30 days of annual leave, plus all public holidays.
- Choice of either a gym membership through Urban Sports Club or a BVG public transport ticket.
- Competitive pay with equity participation in Perk.
- Memorable team experiences, including the annual summer celebration.
- Wellbeing support via Spring Health, with fast access to 12 therapy sessions and 12 coaching sessions for employees and their loved ones.
- Flexible compensation options designed to make earnings go further.
- 17 weeks of paid parental leave during the first year after a child’s birth or arrival.
- 16 paid volunteer hours per year.
- Up to 20 Work From Anywhere days each year.
- A fully paid four-week sabbatical after five years with the company.
- Relocation support for moving into one of the company hubs.
AI at Perk
AI is used throughout the company across multiple functions, and day-to-day tools are AI-enabled to help teams work faster and focus on higher-value tasks. This includes using AI for account research and prioritization, outreach drafting and refinement, improving customer interactions, synthesizing information, and reducing repetitive shadow work.
Applicants are not expected to be AI specialists, but they should be thoughtful and intentional in how they use these tools. Judgment matters: knowing when AI improves the work, when its output needs verification, and when personal expertise should take priority. Interview discussions will include how candidates use AI in practice.
How the team works
Perk follows an in-person-first model, with the team working together onsite three days per week. This position therefore requires someone who can commute to one of the company hubs. The company believes meeting in person improves connection, productivity, creativity, and the overall workplace experience.
For certain positions, relocation support may be available from anywhere in the world. English is the official office language. Candidates should submit their resume in English, and if relevant, an updated portfolio and/or resume.
Equal opportunity and safety notice
Perk is committed to equal opportunity hiring and welcomes applicants regardless of appearance, background, or identity.
To protect applicants, the company notes that official communication will only come from email addresses ending in @perk.com or @externalperk.com, verified social media channels, or recruiters listed on the company’s official LinkedIn page. The company will never ask for payment for equipment, training, or fees, will not request sensitive banking information early in the process, and will not use unofficial messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal. Suspicious messages should be forwarded to the company’s security email for verification.
