Role Summary

The Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) Specialist will oversee and fine-tune the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central ERP platform so it effectively supports sourcing, production, distribution, and sales operations. This is a full-time, on-site position in Lucknow. The role involves setting up ERP modules, safeguarding data accuracy, and tracking system performance to keep daily workflows running efficiently. The specialist will work closely with teams across the business to understand processes, collect requirements, and introduce process improvements that strengthen efficiency and reporting. The position also includes resolving ERP-related problems, coordinating with external vendors or technical support, training employees, and creating documentation and operating guidelines. Ongoing review of how the system is used will be needed to recommend improvements that support DS Enterprises’ expansion and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central environment for business operations.
• Configure ERP modules to support sourcing, production, distribution, and sales workflows.
• Maintain accurate and reliable system data to protect operational integrity.
• Monitor ERP performance and identify areas that require attention or improvement.
• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business processes and convert them into system requirements.
• Implement enhancements that improve efficiency, visibility, and reporting quality.
• Investigate and resolve ERP issues in coordination with vendors or technical teams.
• Prepare user guidance, documentation, and process instructions.
• Train users and provide day-to-day support for smoother adoption of the system.
• Review system usage trends and suggest changes aligned with business growth and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Solid grasp of business operations and process improvement, with the ability to align workflows to organizational objectives.
• Practical exposure to MS D365 Business Central concepts and ERP systems used in operations, supply chain, or distribution settings.
• Strong analytical ability, including data interpretation, troubleshooting, and converting findings into practical recommendations.
• Capability to work with different teams, explain technical ideas in simple terms, and support end users through training.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a similar discipline; ERP certifications will be considered a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing, food, or FMCG environments is advantageous, especially with inventory and logistics processes.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lucknow and interact directly with operations and management teams to encourage system adoption and improvement.
