Job description
About the role
Figma is expanding its team of makers and creative problem-solvers with a mission to make design accessible to everyone. Its platform supports teams from early ideas through prototypes, design-to-code workflows, and AI-assisted iteration. The goal is to help people move faster, simplify collaboration, and work in real time from anywhere.
Figma is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to help grow revenue across enterprise customers. In this position, you will identify, develop, and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, uncover complex business challenges, and present solutions across the product portfolio. This is a full-time onsite role based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.
What you'll be doing
- Build and manage a strong enterprise pipeline to consistently achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Use discovery and value-based selling to deepen relationships with decision-makers at both new and existing enterprise customers with 5,000+ employees.
- Partner with executives to understand business priorities, secure support for organization-wide rollouts, and connect Figma’s roadmap and innovations to long-term needs.
- Develop strategic account plans through detailed analysis, including executive-level multi-threading to expand opportunities.
- Oversee a portfolio of accounts, segment them appropriately, and use retention-focused tactics to reduce contraction risk.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to position Figma effectively, move deals forward, and support customer success.
- Strengthen executive relationships through face-to-face meetings and networking opportunities.
What we're looking for
- Several years of experience closing software or SaaS deals with enterprise customers of 5,000+ employees, including sales to executives.
- A track record of consistently meeting pipeline-generation targets for new business.
- Proven ability to handle long, complex sales cycles of 6 months or more.
- A customer-focused sales process and methodology that creates value for buyers.
Nice to have
- Experience selling strategic solutions to technical stakeholders such as Engineering, Product, or Design teams.
- Success in fast-changing environments.
- Certification in deal qualification and prospecting/discovery.
