Role overview
This position is for a motivated sales professional who thrives on winning new business and creating momentum in a territory. The core focus is to design and carry out a sales plan that drives revenue expansion and attracts new customers.
Candidates must be based in Singapore to align with the hybrid working arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Find and pursue prospective accounts, qualify opportunities, and steadily build a healthy sales pipeline.
- Convert opportunities into closed deals and consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly bookings goals.
- Develop trusted client relationships that lead to account growth and expansion opportunities.
- Take part in sales enablement programs, including Sales Bootcamp, advanced sales training, and leadership development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the Professional Services team to support strong customer outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 8 years of quota-carrying field sales experience in a fast-moving, competitive environment, with emphasis on Indonesia strategic accounts.
- Fluency in Bahasa is mandatory.
- Ability to explain the commercial value of sophisticated enterprise technology clearly and convincingly.
- Proven history of exceeding targets and delivering strong sales performance.
- Experience creating champions within client organizations and managing complex sales cycles.
- Prior exposure to sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales.
- Knowledge of databases, developer tools, and open-source technology is advantageous.
- Highly driven, competitive, and strongly motivated to succeed.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills, with a disciplined approach to opportunity qualification.
- Quick learner with the ability to build credibility fast, along with strong emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
- Genuine interest in building a career in the database software market and in developing deep product knowledge of MongoDB solutions.
- Excellent presentation and active listening skills.
- Comfortable with consultative and value-led selling approaches.
- Strong experience handling the assigned market and maintaining account relationships.
- Experience working with channels and ecosystems in Indonesia.
