This position is for a motivated, high-energy sales professional who thrives on winning new business. The role is centered on creating and delivering a territory-specific sales plan that drives revenue expansion and brings in new customers.
MongoDB already has a strong footprint among digital-native businesses in the region. The focus of this opening is to cover MongoDB’s digital enterprise landscape, including unicorns, venture-backed startups, and fintech companies across African markets.
Candidates need to be based in Dubai to support the company’s hybrid working setup.

Key responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities in a proactive way.
- Reach out strategically to CTOs, engineering leaders, IT decision-makers, and technical users.
- Create trusted relationships that open up expansion and growth opportunities.
- Work alongside Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to deliver a strong customer experience.
- Coordinate with enterprise ecosystem partners and channel partners to improve deal value.
- Take part in sales enablement and development programs, including Sales Bootcamp and other training initiatives.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will bring at least 5 years of enterprise or field software sales experience in a fast-moving, competitive environment, with a clear focus on closing new logos and growing existing accounts. Prior exposure to large digital-native businesses is important.
You should be able to build a strong outbound pipeline using email, phone, and social channels, and should have a consistent record of exceeding targets. The role also calls for the ability to explain the business impact of complex enterprise technology, develop internal champions, and work with urgency, accountability, and ownership. Being based in Dubai is required. French fluency is preferred. A BS/BA degree or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
Preferred strengths
Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales is a plus. Interest in databases, developer tools, and open-source technology will also be helpful.
