Immediate job details

The current requirement is for an on-site teacher. While most delivery is online, in-person sessions may be needed from time to time. Candidates must be able to travel to the South Tipperary area, with North Cork and Limerick also mentioned as manageable travel areas. Hours will be offered as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Deliver business English lessons to adult learners.
• Prepare lesson plans for live teaching sessions.
• Design assignment tasks and review or mark submitted work.
• Handle light administrative tasks, including emailing learners when required and working with reporting tools.

Requirements

• Level 5 TEFL/TESOL certification or a higher qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience teaching adults in an online environment.
• Comfort with using technology in a teaching context.
• Availability on Tuesdays is required for the immediate need.
• Ability to travel to South Tipperary and nearby areas for occasional on-site work.
• CELTA qualification is strongly preferred.
• This opportunity is structured as a part-time freelance contract.

Additional information

The role is based on an as-needed hours model, so work will be provided when available rather than on a fixed full-time schedule.
