Job description

Role Overview

This is a remote, hourly contractor opportunity focused on evaluating and improving AI-generated English content. The work may involve reviewing model responses, creating expert-level language content, and delivering clear, practical feedback that helps strengthen answer quality and reasoning.

You will assess outputs for correctness, clarity, and alignment with the prompt; spot issues in logic, meaning, method, or conceptual understanding; verify facts when required; and produce strong explanations and revised answers that show the right approach. You will also compare multiple AI responses and judge them on accuracy and reasoning quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design AI training prompts and language examples across varied topics to support model learning.
  • Review, compare, and rank AI-generated answers to improve accuracy, fluency, and contextual fit.
  • Check models for errors, inconsistencies, and potential bias, and verify that they behave reliably across use cases.
  • Provide precise, easy-to-follow feedback and explain corrections in a clear written format.
  • Write high-quality model revisions and explanations that demonstrate the correct reasoning or method.

Profile

  • A bachelor’s degree or above in Linguistics, English, Translation/Localization, Communications, Journalism, or a closely related subject.
  • Strong English ability at C1 level or higher; native-level or C2 proficiency is preferred.
  • Professional-level knowledge of at least one additional language is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of grammar, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse organization, and style editing across different tones and formats.
  • Excellent eye for detail, with the ability to catch meaning shifts, ambiguity, inconsistencies, and subtle language errors.
  • Capability to apply style rules consistently, including tone, terminology, punctuation, and capitalization.
  • Self-managed, dependable, and comfortable working in an hourly remote contractor setup across multiple time zones.
  • Prior exposure to AI data training, annotation, editorial QA, localization QA, or professional copyediting is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Perplexity, Gemini, ChatGPT, and similar platforms.

Work Arrangement

This position is a remote contractor role paid on an hourly basis. The job is designed for independent contributors who can work consistently and manage their own schedule.
