About the Company
Riyadh Air (RX), based in the Saudi capital, is a new national carrier focused on redefining air travel. The airline aims to position Saudi Arabia as a major aviation and trade hub and plans to connect the kingdom with more than 100 destinations through a digitally native model.
About the Role
This opportunity is suited to a quality professional with a strong interest in auditing, safety, and aviation excellence. The role supports internal and external quality audits aligned with aviation regulatory obligations and company standards.
The position plays a key part in maintaining ongoing compliance through organized audit work, monitoring corrective and preventive actions, and supporting a robust quality governance framework across Engineering and Maintenance operations.
Working with impartiality and independence, you will carry out audits under General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) requirements and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA Part 145) standards.
You will also gather and assess audit evidence, highlight non-conformities and operational risks, and help drive sound decisions through clear reporting and follow-up actions.
In addition, the role contributes to audit-related training and capability-building initiatives so that quality and safety standards are applied consistently throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Carry out internal and external quality audits in line with aviation regulations and company procedures.
- Support continuous compliance by tracking corrective and preventive actions.
- Help maintain quality governance across Engineering and Maintenance activities.
- Perform audits independently and impartially under GACA and EASA Part 145 requirements.
- Collect, review, and analyze audit evidence.
- Identify non-conformities and operational risks and document findings accurately.
- Prepare reports and follow up on audit outcomes and action items.
- Contribute to training and development activities related to audit, quality, and safety.
Requirements
- A degree qualification is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in a busy airline operations or maintenance environment.
- Familiarity with aviation quality auditing and compliance practices.
- Ability to work with objectivity, independence, and strong attention to detail.
- Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification in ISO 9001 or ISO 19011 is preferred.
