A top-tier national law firm is looking to hire an Employment Solicitor with between NQ and 5 years PQE to join its Birmingham employment practice. What you will do

• Advise employer clients on employment law matters such as disciplinary issues, grievances, performance concerns, redundancies, and restructure exercises.
• Handle Employment Tribunal matters from the initial stage through to final resolution.
• Prepare and review employment contracts, service agreements, workplace policies, and related procedures.
• Provide guidance on TUPE, business reorganisations, and wider corporate support work.
• Assist senior lawyers with complex disputes and strategic advisory assignments.
• Deliver clear, practical, and commercially focused advice aligned to client business needs.
• Develop client relationships and support business development activity.

What the employer is looking for

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales with experience ranging from newly qualified to 5 years PQE.
• Prior employment law experience gained in a respected law firm.
• Experience advising employer-side clients across a broad range of employment matters.
• Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and relevant case law.
• Confident communication and client-handling abilities.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
