Role overview
Sunda International is hiring an Employee Relations Manager for its Weija-Gbawe Municipal District location in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on supporting employee communication, workplace engagement, and the handling of disciplinary and legal matters.
What you will do
- Work closely with the HRBP Manager to oversee employee communication, engagement activities, and disciplinary processes.
- Coordinate reporting for workplace injuries, follow up on cases, and support insurance claim processing.
- Address labor disputes, employee complaints, and litigation-related matters while protecting the organization’s legal interests.
- Design and roll out initiatives that strengthen company culture, team connection, and employee belonging.
- Maintain working relationships with local labor offices, insurance providers, and relevant government bodies.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resource Management, Law, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations, with prior ER-focused work strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of Ghanaian labor legislation, union rules, and applicable legal requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in resolving labor conflicts, grievance matters, and public-facing relation issues.
- Strong command of English for speaking, reading, writing, and handling legal documentation.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication, planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities in challenging work settings.
