Role Overview
The Education Success Manager will own the curriculum design and development for the MCP Accelerate program and emerging partner programs within Mayo Clinic Platform. This role partners closely with other success managers and leadership to shape, build, and continually improve educational offerings, while supporting the full curriculum development cycle for new partner initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead collaborative design, build-out, and rollout of curriculum for the MCP Accelerate program.
- Work with MCP success managers and leaders to continuously strengthen and refine the program.
- Gather partner feedback and turn it into data-informed improvements for learning experience and outcomes.
- Support the development of new partner programs and advise on educational structure.
- Use systems-level thinking to apply insights from partner programs to wider training and education efforts within MCP.
- Partner with leadership to recommend high-quality learning experiences and resources that advance strategic priorities.
- Act as a bridge for content development and educational strategy across internal and external collaborations.
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across Mayo Clinic to support education work within MCP.
- Apply current technology knowledge, learning science, and instructional methods to create effective learning experiences.
- Take on additional related duties as assigned.
Work Location and Schedule
This position is fully on-site. The role is listed as being based in Southaven, Mississippi, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is required depending on business needs. Weekend flexibility may also be needed.
Employment Conditions
This is an exempt, full-time position with 80 hours per pay period. It is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and Mayo Clinic will not sponsor or transfer a visa for this role. The organization also does not participate in the F1 STEM OPT extension program.
The role is intended as a limited-tenure position to support the formation, launch, and stabilization of a new company and laboratory. As the organization develops, the position is expected to shift into a permanent infrastructure role within a separate company that will operate independently from Mayo Clinic Laboratories.
Qualifications
A master’s degree in education or a closely related discipline, along with seven years of experience, is required. A doctoral or postgraduate degree in education or a related field is preferred.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of the technology industry and emerging technology opportunities, plus hands-on expertise across the full curriculum development lifecycle. Experience should include data-driven learning design, learning theory, education technology, pedagogy, and collaboration with subject matter experts.
Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to explain technology and data-based product solutions in a way that supports improvements in medical care. The role also calls for excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to work with diverse groups, strong relationship management, and experience handling multiple client accounts at once.
Candidates should be able to mentor, train, and supervise employees; think strategically about improving the MCP Accelerate program; work independently and collaboratively; and present confidently to internal and external audiences on behalf of Mayo Clinic Platform. Initiative, adaptability, and a startup mindset are preferred, and prior startup experience is an advantage.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $93,392 to $140,129 per year. Compensation may also reflect education, experience, tenure, and internal equity when an offer is made.
