Job description
Role overview
Gumloop is an AI automation platform built for enterprise teams that want to create and deploy AI agents without needing an engineering background. These agents can operate inside Slack, Microsoft Teams, or as standalone experiences, and they work across hundreds of integrations to automate real tasks.
The product is organized around three core areas: agents, which are conversational AI assistants that choose tools dynamically to complete open-ended work; workflows, which are visual drag-and-drop automations with fixed, repeatable steps; and Gumstack, an enterprise MCP hosting, observability, and AI governance layer that helps organizations manage models, monitor tool usage, and enforce security.
Customers using the platform include teams at Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor. The company has raised $70M from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures, Shopify Ventures, BoxGroup, and The Cannon Project.
What this role is about
This is a first-of-its-kind Education Lead position focused on how users learn and adopt Gumloop. The role owns the journey from onboarding through to the point where users are confidently sharing the agents they build with their teams.
You will design and run live learning experiences such as cohorts, webinars, and workshops, while also building the self-serve content library that supports learners between sessions. The company is looking for someone who sees teaching as a craft, creates memorable learning moments, and builds programs that participants want to recommend to colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Design, organize, and lead Gumloop's live education programs, including cohorts, webinars, and workshops.
- Create and update supporting self-paced resources such as written guides, video tutorials, and templates.
- Build tailored learning journeys for different audiences, including beginners, advanced users, enterprise customers, and teams using Gumloop for marketing, sales, or operations.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Community teams so education stays aligned with launches and new feature releases.
- Set learning success measures and monitor indicators such as activation, attendance/completion, and feature use after training.
- Test different content formats, scheduling approaches, and delivery methods to identify what best helps users progress.
- Develop reusable education assets and repeatable systems that can scale without requiring your direct involvement every time.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience teaching technical topics to live audiences, such as in DevRel, technical training, educational video content, or a similar role.
- A clear understanding of how to structure learning experiences with strong sequencing, relevant examples, and the right pace.
- Comfort using AI tools and real curiosity about how they function; engineering expertise is not required, but a builder mindset is.
- Ability to sense audience energy in person or online and adapt your delivery in the moment.
- A strong sense of ownership and initiative, with the habit of fixing problems proactively.
- Familiarity with Gumloop, automation platforms, or AI agent tools, along with genuine enthusiasm for them.
- Three to five years of experience in content education, developer education, technical training, or DevRel.
Bonus experience
- Experience producing or editing video using tools such as Osmo, Screenflow, Premiere, Final Cut, or CapCut.
- Background in creating certification tracks or structured learning programs.
- A YouTube channel or other public teaching portfolio.
Compensation and benefits
The stated base salary range for San Francisco is $145K to $175K. The package also includes meaningful equity.
- Generous paid time off: 24 days for employees in San Francisco and 20 days globally, with flexible usage.
- $350 per month wellness allowance that can be used for gym, spa, equipment, or similar expenses.
- 15 days of temporary remote work flexibility each year.
- 401(k) match of up to 6%.
