Role Overview

The Education Counsellor will connect with prospective students, understand their goals, and guide them toward the most suitable IT training programs. This role combines counselling, lead conversion, follow-ups, and admission support to drive enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

• Reach out to potential students by making outbound calls and conducting timely follow-ups.
• Assess student needs and suggest the IT courses that best match their career goals.
• Advise students on job opportunities and growth prospects in the IT sector.
• Create walk-ins and arrange visits to the branch.
• Conduct counselling sessions over the phone and through online platforms.
• Manage the entire admission journey, from first inquiry through final enrollment.
• Clearly explain the course structure, teaching approach, certifications, and placement support.
• Keep in touch with interested candidates consistently until the admission is completed.
• Turn enquiries into admissions through strong communication and relationship management.
• Maintain CRM entries, call records, and lead updates on a regular basis.
• Work closely with academic and placement teams for demonstrations and student onboarding.
• Meet monthly goals for admissions and counselling conversions.
• Prepare and share daily updates on activities and progress.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should have strong communication and persuasion skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work toward targets. Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools are also expected.

Experience & Eligibility

Fresh graduates may apply. Candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in education counselling, admission counselling, telecalling, sales, customer service, or business development are also suitable. Eligible educational backgrounds include B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization and B.Com in any specialization.

Additional Information

This position is based in Solapur, India. The role involves active student engagement, regular follow-up, and admission-driven performance targets.
