Role overview

This position is for a learner-centered Education Consultant / Learning & Development Specialist who will help shape, roll out, and improve educational and professional development initiatives. The role blends education consulting, instructional planning, and learning strategy so that individuals and organizations can better reach their learning and performance goals.

In this position, you will review learning needs, build practical training solutions, and suggest improvements that strengthen learning results and organizational impact. You will work with stakeholders to spot capability gaps, map learning paths, and design engaging experiences that support growth at both personal and professional levels.

Key duties

You will create training content, instructional resources, workshops, and learning materials for different audiences. The role includes helping plan and run learning programs, delivering training sessions, and measuring how well programs work using assessments, participant feedback, and performance data.

You will also carry out education-focused research, study learner data, and recommend ways to improve engagement, retention of knowledge, and overall learning performance. In addition, you will support curriculum work, improve content, and help introduce new learning methods and technologies.

Other parts of the role include contributing to talent development efforts, keeping learning records up to date, coordinating education-related projects, and tracking new trends in education, training, and workforce development.

Qualifications and experience

  • Sound knowledge of learning and development, education, training, or instructional design concepts.
  • Understanding of curriculum design, learning evaluation, and adult learning approaches.
  • Capability to design, build, and present engaging learning materials and programs.
  • Strong English communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Good analytical ability to assess learning impact and performance results.
  • Comfort using LMS platforms, e-learning systems, and digital learning tools.
  • Ability to perform training needs analysis and identify areas for development.
  • Well-developed organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Capacity to handle several learning projects and deadlines at once.
