Role overview
Miss Daisy's Nursery Schools is hiring qualified early years educators for its Hyde Park nursery. The position is based in London and follows an on-site working pattern, with hours from 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Main duties
The educator will support children aged 0-5 by delivering high-quality care and learning experiences. The role includes planning age-appropriate activities under EYFS, creating a secure and nurturing environment, monitoring development, working closely with parents and colleagues, keeping progress records up to date, and maintaining a tidy, organised nursery space. The job also requires adherence to health and safety standards at all times.

Applicants should bring the right qualification, experience, and personal approach for early years work. The position calls for someone who is patient, empathetic, enthusiastic about working with children, comfortable in a team, and familiar with child development as well as childcare regulations such as safeguarding.

Qualifications required
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, or another full and relevant early years qualification
- Prior experience in a nursery or childcare environment
- Paediatric First Aid
- Understanding of child development principles and practices
- Awareness of relevant childcare laws and safeguarding requirements
Duties in detail
- Deliver attentive care and education for children aged 0-5
- Design and carry out stimulating activities aligned with EYFS
- Maintain a warm, safe, and supportive setting for children
- Track and review children’s progress, noting any concerns
- Work with families and colleagues to meet each child’s needs
- Keep accurate developmental records
- Ensure the nursery remains clean, orderly, and well cared for
- Follow health and safety procedures consistently
