Role Overview
We are hiring an E-commerce SEO Specialist to strengthen the visibility of an online perfume store, grow organic traffic, and support revenue growth. This role focuses on improving how product and category pages perform in search results, refining technical site health, and using content and keyword strategy to bring in more qualified visitors and sales.
Salary: AED 4,000. Location: Ajman.
What You’ll Do
- Research keywords for products, category pages, and shopper search intent.
- Improve SEO performance across product listings, category pages, and landing pages.
- Carry out technical SEO reviews and fix issues affecting crawlability, indexing, page speed, and structured data.
- Handle on-page SEO elements such as meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal links.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms to monitor performance.
- Plan content initiatives that lift organic visits and improve conversions.
- Study competitor SEO approaches and uncover opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with content, marketing, design, and development teams.
- Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and revenue coming from organic search.
- Apply SEO best practices across e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and BigCommerce.
Required Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of SEO experience, ideally within e-commerce.
- Solid understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and link-building fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website structure.
- Experience with e-commerce systems including Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical ability and reporting skills.
Preferred Strengths
- Exposure to conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Familiarity with schema markup and structured data implementation.
- Understanding of user experience and customer journey optimization.
- Basic awareness of PPC and other digital marketing channels.
- Good communication and project coordination skills.
