The Opportunity
This role is for an entrepreneurial operator who enjoys taking full ownership, moves quickly from concept to execution, and sees commerce as a way to create growth, connection, and positive impact. You will independently oversee the digital storefront, customer journey, growth initiatives, and ecommerce performance while helping guide the brand’s next phase of growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Shopify storefront, product merchandising, launches, and the overall customer experience.
- Drive retention programs through Klaviyo, email, SMS, audience segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
- Track, analyze, and share results for ROAS, conversion rate, average order value, CAC, retention, and customer lifetime value.
- Work closely with paid media agencies and other growth partners.
- Spot and develop new growth paths such as partnerships, affiliate programs, influencer collaborations, wholesale, and newer commerce channels.
- Oversee agencies, freelancers, applications, and the ecommerce tech stack.
- Keep improving user experience, conversion performance, and the end-to-end customer journey.
The Right Person
The ideal candidate is part builder, part operator, and part strategist. You should be comfortable working inside Shopify and Klaviyo dashboards, while also understanding that strong ecommerce is about creating experiences customers want to return to.
You should be confident with data analysis, customer journey optimization, conversion improvement, and backend execution. Success in this role requires balancing analytics, creativity, merchandising, and brand storytelling to support growth.
Interest in the wellness space is highly valued. A connection to yoga, hot yoga, wellness culture, mindful movement, or somatic practices is especially appreciated.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of ecommerce experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Shopify, along with experience in Klaviyo, SMS marketing, and retention programs.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing and ecommerce KPIs.
- Proven ability in merchandising, customer experience, and conversion optimization.
- Experience in apparel, activewear, wellness, beauty, or lifestyle brands is preferred, though not mandatory.
