Role Summary
The DPW Coordinator I (Tier 2) is responsible for supporting Department of Public Works operations. This position helps organize and track activities across public works teams so services are completed efficiently and on schedule. The role also involves reporting operational progress to public works and site leadership, assisting with technical and project-related public works needs, and supporting program delivery in coordination with internal teams and client representatives.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will coordinate public works functions as assigned and help plan the timing of work across different departments within the public works group. You will monitor service delivery, communicate status updates to management, and provide technical support for projects and day-to-day public works tasks. The job includes reviewing codes, standards, and specifications to confirm work meets required compliance levels, carrying out inspections and audits to check whether activities follow stated requirements, and helping develop and deliver instruction on special procedures. You will also work with company and project leadership, designers, and client contacts to establish and roll out public works programs. In addition, you will train, schedule, and oversee subordinate public works staff, along with any other duties assigned.
Job Requirements
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, or an equivalent mix of education and experience, plus 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. The role requires the knowledge, practical skill level, and physical capability needed to complete assigned duties. To meet contract safety, health, and security requirements, the employee must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.

Salary Information
The posted salary range for this position is $34,300 to $53,900. The final offer may vary based on qualifications, years of experience, location, internal pay alignment, and market conditions. The market rate is generally around the midpoint of the range.
