Role overview

This full-time, non-management position is based in An Nu'aylah, Saudi Arabia, at AMAALA. The role sits within Rooms & Guest Services Operations and is focused on creating a polished, welcoming arrival and departure experience for hotel guests and visitors.

Key duties

  • Receive guests warmly, open doors, and escort them to their rooms when needed.
  • Support guests and visitors entering or leaving the property, including helping them in and out of vehicles.
  • Share information about the property’s facilities, services, operating hours, nearby attractions, and activities.
  • Explain room features and guest amenities such as the room key, mini-bar, ice and vending locations, in-room safe, and valet laundry service.
  • Move guest baggage to and from rooms or the bell area, and help with storage and retrieval when required.
  • Arrange transportation such as taxis, shuttles, or limousine/sedan services, and log advance transportation requests when needed.
  • Communicate parking instructions clearly to guests and visitors.
  • Maintain awareness of suspicious or unwelcome individuals on the premises and report concerns appropriately.

Service standards and workplace expectations

  • Follow company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety practices at all times.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager without delay.
  • Keep uniform and personal grooming neat, professional, and aligned with brand expectations.
  • Protect confidential information and treat all guest interactions with discretion.
  • Greet every guest professionally, anticipate service needs, and provide attentive support to guests with disabilities.
  • Use clear, courteous language and proper telephone etiquette.
  • Build constructive working relationships with team members and collaborate effectively.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
  • Be able to work at a pace required by the job, remain on your feet or seated for long periods, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and position items as needed.
  • Handle surfaces such as slopes, uneven areas, slippery floors, stairs, and service ramps, and bend, twist, reach, and stoop when required.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED-equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • No prior related work experience is required.
  • No supervisory background is needed.
  • No license or certification is required.
