About the Role

Metricon is seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Display Draftsperson to join our Product Development Team based at our Robina office. This role focuses on creating precise residential documentation essential for constructing and showcasing display homes across Australia. You will contribute directly to our legacy of delivering exceptional homes that inspire communities nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft innovative new display homes through all development and construction stages with strict adherence to quality standards.
• Ensure all documentation complies with building codes and relevant permits for multiple states.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to critical customer requirements, providing excellent service and practical solutions.
• Conduct site visits to assess construction progress and generate accurate as-built plans.
• Collaborate closely with various departments to deliver inspiring and consistent display homes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of project workflows and company systems to support seamless operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience as a Residential Draftsperson, primarily focused on residential projects.
• Completion of a tertiary or TAFE qualification in residential drafting.
• Proficiency in Revit software for drafting purposes.
• Understanding of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian standards.
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing multiple projects and priorities.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively.
• A positive and proactive attitude is essential to thrive in this role.
