Job description

Role overview

Woolworths Pharmacy is expanding across New Zealand, with more than 45 pharmacies serving local communities with convenient access to pharmaceutical support. This role is part of the pharmacy team and reports directly to the Pharmacy Manager.

The position suits someone who enjoys working in a people-focused setting, values accuracy, and wants to contribute meaningfully to the health and wellbeing of the community.

Working roster

The advertised roster pattern is:

  • Sunday: 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Monday: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Thursday: 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Key duties

  • Prepare and dispense medicines with care and accuracy.
  • Keep track of stock levels and review inventory needs.
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service.

Candidate profile

To be effective in this position, you should bring previous retail experience, along with the ability to work in a customer-first environment and act with integrity in every interaction. You will also need to hold the correct legal right to work in Aotearoa and meet the technician registration requirements.

Qualifications and requirements

  • NZQA Level 4 or Level 5 registered technician status.
  • Current accreditation.
  • Relevant documentation confirming your right to work in Aotearoa New Zealand.
  • Prior retail experience.
