Job description
About the Company
This agency works globally to help organisations communicate in a world that is constantly changing. Operating at the meeting point of technology and human insight, the team turns new ideas into clear, meaningful experiences that build connection and understanding. In Singapore, the group supports brands with communications that combine data, strategy, earned creativity and digital-first thinking. Its experience across public sector, travel and tourism, technology, and B2B work is supported by AI-enabled tools and an advanced technology stack that helps transform content into real impact.
Role Overview
This senior leadership position is for a communications professional who can operate across public relations, marketing and creative operations. The role calls for someone who can shape strong narratives, guide clients confidently, lead teams effectively, and keep delivery running with discipline and efficiency. You will oversee integrated communications programmes, brand and marketing execution, and the smooth functioning of the agency’s creative delivery engine.
Communications Strategy and Delivery
- Act as the main senior contact for clients on a daily basis, steering multi-channel communications work with precision and strategic judgement.
- Build strong ties with journalists, media outlets and influencers in Singapore and across the region, while creating proactive story angles that support the intended message.
- Lead earned media planning and execution, including media collaborations, award entries and recognition programmes.
- Run integrated communication campaigns, evaluate results and ensure delivery is polished across every channel.
- Track emerging digital and social trends, then brief clients and internal teams so strategy stays relevant.
- Spot possible risks or disruptions in the client environment and act early to reduce impact.
Business Development
- Prepare and present new business proposals and participate in face-to-face pitch meetings.
- Grow existing accounts and broaden client relationships by identifying cross-account and international opportunities.
- Showcase operational strengths and creative capabilities to prospective clients to help secure new work.
- Monitor competitors and market movements to identify business opportunities worth pursuing.
Marketing and Brand
- Create and oversee content across formats such as thought leadership pieces, short-form videos, infographics, whitepapers and social media posts, keeping the brand consistent throughout.
- Lead the agency’s social presence and help senior leaders strengthen their LinkedIn profiles so their expertise is more visible.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to sharpen marketing direction and keep the brand competitive.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to measure marketing performance and guide decisions.
Creative Operations
- Set up and improve creative workflows from brief intake to final delivery, with clear processes for project handling and quality checks.
- Plan and allocate resources across creative teams to improve efficiency and output quality.
- Manage external vendors, including assessment, onboarding and performance management for creative partners and freelancers.
- Control budgets and monitor utilisation so work is delivered on time, to brief and within scope.
People Leadership
- Coach and support direct reports with an emphasis on retention, career development and broader capability building.
- Oversee hiring, staffing and onboarding across PR, marketing and creative functions.
- Work with HR on employee relations matters and reinforce agency values and accountability within the team.
- Keep senior leaders updated on client progress, team issues and operational developments.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration or a closely related field.
- At least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in communications, PR or marketing, ideally in an agency environment, plus 3 to 4 years in people management.
- Proven experience running integrated marketing campaigns, brand programmes and content strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the Asian media environment, with established relationships with Singapore-based media and journalists.
- Experience with digital and social storytelling, including community engagement and influencer outreach.
- Comfort working in fast-moving environments, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of creative production workflows, project management tools and digital asset management systems.
- Excellent writing, editing and presentation abilities, along with strong executive presence.
- English fluency is required; knowledge of a second regional language such as Mandarin is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and data visualisation tools is a bonus.
