Role Summary
The Director, Partnership Engagement is a remote, full-time leadership position focused on building, scaling, and managing strategic partnerships that accelerate adoption of ASTERRA’s offerings in priority markets. The role centers on working with utilities, government bodies, system integrators, and technology partners to create shared value and long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partner relationships across key market segments.
- Engage with prospective and current partners to deepen collaboration and expand business impact.
- Lead commercial discussions, including negotiations and the creation of joint go-to-market plans.
- Coordinate closely with sales, product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution and partner success.
- Track partner performance and maintain visibility into pipeline, revenue contribution, and growth opportunities.
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact for executive-level partners.
- Gather market intelligence and feed insights into partnership strategy and business planning.
- Represent ASTERRA at conferences, industry events, and partner meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication ability, with the confidence to explain complex ideas clearly and build credibility with varied stakeholders.
- Proven experience in strategic partnerships, including developing, expanding, and sustaining partner ecosystems and joint business plans.
- Strong account management capability, including relationship ownership, performance tracking, and oversight of contracts and renewals.
- Sound strategic thinking skills, including market evaluation, opportunity sizing, and long-range partnership planning.
- Commercial and sales acumen, with experience in consultative selling, pipeline management, and negotiation.
- Prior exposure to infrastructure, water utilities, environmental services, geospatial technology, or a similar domain is a strong advantage.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote environment while balancing multiple priorities and collaborating across international, cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, environmental sciences, or a related discipline; an advanced degree or equivalent professional experience is beneficial.
