Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic, outcome-focused Director of Projects to own enterprise-wide project and program portfolios, strengthen execution discipline, and help deliver high-value initiatives successfully. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning business strategy into measurable results, leading capable teams, and managing complex programs across the organization.

Core Responsibilities

  • Direct the full lifecycle of a broad portfolio of projects and programs, from early planning to execution and final delivery.
  • Build and maintain project governance structures, delivery methods, and performance benchmarks that support consistent results.
  • Work closely with executive leaders and important stakeholders to ensure project priorities match business goals.
  • Track progress across projects, including budgets, schedules, staffing, and key performance indicators.
  • Spot risks early, address issues, and coordinate dependencies across multiple initiatives.
  • Improve project management practices, systems, and tools on an ongoing basis.
  • Guide, coach, and develop project managers and cross-functional teams while promoting accountability and high performance.
  • Create executive dashboards, portfolio updates, business cases, and leadership reports for senior management.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated background in managing large-scale project portfolios and complex programs.
  • Strong leadership ability, strategic judgment, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Excellent capability in stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation.
  • Solid knowledge of project governance, portfolio oversight, and delivery frameworks.
  • Strong financial understanding, including experience handling budgets and resources.
  • Ability to lead change and align teams in fast-moving environments.
  • Focused on delivery, quality, and measurable business outcomes.
