Director of Operations

About the Role

Shards of Clarity is hiring a full-time Director of Operations to oversee the company’s end-to-end operational function from a remote location in the USA. This position is focused on building stronger operating systems, improving execution across teams, and supporting the organization’s continued growth through better planning and process discipline.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the day-to-day functioning and long-term planning of the operations department.
• Design, refine, and standardize operational workflows and management systems.
• Work closely with production, supply chain, sales, and other teams to keep work aligned.
• Track operational performance and identify opportunities for ongoing improvement.
• Create operational plans based on business requirements and oversee delivery.
• Review operating data and turn findings into practical improvement actions.
• Allocate people, tools, and other resources effectively to strengthen efficiency.
• Coordinate the rollout of important business initiatives and ensure execution.
• Guide, support, and develop the operations team through coaching and training.
• Take on other related responsibilities assigned by the company.

What We’re Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 10 years of experience in operations or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing teams.
• Solid understanding of enterprise operating models, procedures, and management systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
• Good analytical thinking and a practical approach to solving problems.
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and meet goals.
• Comfort using office software and business management tools.
• Experience in international organizations or multi-region operations is an advantage.
• Background in process improvement and efficiency-focused projects is preferred.
• Experience in project management, cross-functional coordination, talent development, and performance management is valued.
• Ability to stay effective in a fast-moving work environment.
